The services offered during Arabic classes in Gembloux: A concern to first serve the local community so that it can develop in knowledge and excellence, a willingness to welcome at an affordable price, textbooks universally recognised by local schools, an educational team supporting the teachers, collective teaching providing the opportunity for personalities to emerge gently, familiarisation with good Muslim conduct in society, personal growth in one's spiritual journey, intergenerational transmission, the fraternity of Muslims in humanity and therefore living well together, here and now!
What I can learn in Arabic classes: Group life around a shared learning experience, a language that brings together many different cultures just like French, English, or Spanish, a participatory and supportive learning approach, respect for the places hosting the classes and therefore restraint, the proper way to be towards others, or even good hygiene practices, the basics of the Quran, the fundamentals and the nuances of an internationally known language.
to read and understand Arabic, first as a living language, but
also as a vector of culture.
The Arabic course offered should be distinguished from a course in Quranic recitation, even
of learning about the Islamic religion. The groups are open to everyone, regardless
religious/philosophical beliefs.
( it is being able to immerse oneself with a critical mind in the Texts and find answers to our
current issues. It is therefore also and above all the guarantee for the younger ones and the
others not to easily fall into rigorous, unique, dogmatic re-readings,
manipulated or pre-chewed texts. Ultimately, it is about returning to the texts and therefore to the
practices and schools in all their variety, their full meaning!
